I've just started taking these on the advice of my optician as I have early stage macular degeneration. The tablets are quite large but are very smooth so easy to swallow. It's hard for me to evaluate. Impossible even. I was diagnosed with early AMD 12 months ago. 'What could I do to "halt"? I learned that lutein + zeaxanthin had provided a delay to symptoms for some of those in the 'middle stage'. There are numerous global studies. I decided to use in the hope that it doesn't get much worse but there is no 'evidence' to support. Having said 'that' .....neither is there evidence that it isn't helpful at an earlier stage.

It's very hard to review a product that does not have immediate benefit ....... where any 'benefit' may be questionable. All I 'know' is that I have been diagnosed with early AMD(?) at age 65. The research, (Areds 1/2), found that certain supplements delayed progression. Hence my purchase. Ask me for me feedback again in 20 years ....... if I am still 'here'
